Washington’s First Clean Hydrogen Technical Assistance Program Now Open

Organizations across Washington state now have a new resource to help them explore the potential of clean hydrogen.

The Resources for the End-use Advancement of Clean Hydrogen (REACH) program has officially launched, offering free technical assistance to organizations interested in learning how hydrogen could support their operations and clean energy goals. Founded by CHARGE, Washington State University and the Washington State Department of Commerce, REACH is designed to help organizations better understand clean hydrogen technologies, applications, opportunities, and challenges.

The program is open to a wide range of organizations, including ports, transit agencies, tribal nations, utilities, farms, manufacturers, and others operating in Washington state. Whether you’re already using hydrogen, actively considering a project, or simply interested in learning more, REACH provides flexible, customized support tailored to each participant’s needs.

There are no minimum qualifications to participate and no commitment required. Completing the intake form is simply a way to connect with the REACH team and begin exploring available resources and technical assistance opportunities.

Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to submit an intake form by June 19, 2026.
