Update:  Thanks to everyone who joined our webinar on August 21! For people who missed the live version, we’ll be posting a link to share a recording of the event to the website shortly. We’ll include the link to that post here as well. Thank you again for your interest and enthusiasm!

Last month, the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub (PNWH2) received the first portion of funding from the U.S. Department of Energy for a multiyear deal to build a $6 billion network in the region.

Together with our partners, PNWH2 is establishing the Pacific Northwest as a national benchmark for successful low-carbon intensity and economically viable green hydrogen production. Projects will be located across Washington, Oregon and Montana and leverage the region’s innovative technology and abundant renewable energy to address the hardest-to-abate end-users, such as public transit, agriculture products, medium- and heavy-duty transport and the electric power industry.

To learn more about the PNWH2 Hub’s plans for Phase 1, including community and tribal engagement, labor opportunities, and other regional benefits, we invite you to attend a webinar next Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT.

Speakers will include:

  • Chris Green PNWH2 President
  • Janine Benner – PNWH2 Board of Directors Vice Chair, Director of Oregon Department of Energy
  • Kent Caputo – PNWH2 Board of Directors Tribal Representative, Chief Operating Officer of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe
  • April Sims – PNWH2 Board of Directors Labor Representative, President of the Washington State Labor Council
