Project: Baker City, Oregon
Express Ranch Hydrogen is developing an electrolytic hydrogen production facility strategically located between Baker City and Huntington, Oregon, along the I-84 corridor. The project is designed to support the growing demand for clean hydrogen in both industrial and transportation sectors.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Industrial Off-take Partner: The facility will supply clean hydrogen to a mining operator transitioning part of its heavy-duty haul truck fleet from diesel to hydrogen-powered engines—aiming to significantly reduce onsite emissions.
- Open-Access Refueling Station: A publicly accessible hydrogen fueling hub will be established along I-84 to serve long-haul trucking fleets. This station is part of a broader strategy to decarbonize freight corridors and promote hydrogen vehicle adoption across the region.
